The village of Arnad is a treasure chest, a lot that on its territory coexist the medieval castle, the Renaissance Palais Vallaise, numerous fortified houses, towers and chapels, the stupendous romanesque parish church, the spectacular Echallod bridge, the sanctuary of Machaby dedicated to the Notre-Dame des Neiges under restoration and the nearby fort , nestled among the centuries-old chestnut trees.
In addition to the historical, religious, architectural and cultural riches, Arnad maintains a solid tradition in the protection of agri-food quality, witnessed also by the presence of eleven restaurants that enhance the products,
starting with the famous lard, celebrated on the feast of the month of August.
