Restoration
Since 2017 the Arnad Castle (opposite
in a photograph of 1867, the first that depicts him) is the subject of a project
of protection and enhancement
aimed at its opening to the public.
After carrying out various interventions
- such as replacement of the internal wooden floors, the creation of a replacement access path of the previous walkway, the elimination of weeds, the reclamation of inland areas - in the coming months in accordance with the Superintendency for the cultural heritage of the Aosta Valley
we will proceed with the execution
of the first archaeological surveys
in the part more ancient of the castle,
that of the rectangular donjon.
